Inside St Leonards Church, London Tonight

I spent some time this morning with a correspondent from ITN's London
tonight, talking about Stopped Clocks in London, and St Leonards Church
in particular. The church spire and clock housing is in quite pitiful
repair, with the clocks having been out of action for around 10 years.

The feature on stopped clocks will air on London Tonight on Sunday,
sometime between 5 and 6, so if you're in London tune your telly to see
stopped clocks on the day the clocks go back :)

Another one I can’t believe I’ve missed till now, considering I go up Clerkenwell Road so regularly. This clock is simply enormous, and clearly has been in disrepair for some time.

The white shed housing on the roof is obviously where the mechanism is contained, and I can’t help but think that the rusted look really suits this clock, and simply restarting the mechanism would be enough. Click through the image for more shots.
